Default Best running one yet.

Don't hate me please. I can't help if I have Yellow Fever.

Another Quiet Line. 1979 1450

The most complete and best running of my finds.

I think by looking at the hour meter it has low millage.

Again a low price I had to jump on.

( I had the inspection plate off in the first photo.)

Within an hour after talking to the owner on the phone I owned it and had it loaded on my trailer.

I mowed my front yard when I got it back did OK. Been very dry here for over a month so not much grass but lots of leaves on the ground.

50 inch deck. Deck is very rough but I have a perfect condition deck to put on it. The clutch on the front of the mower must be dragging a little as the blades on the mower want to keep turning just slightly.

The only thing that saves me from this fever is the one I've got all torn apart in the shop. I've told myself it has to be complete before I can even look around.

Maybe that's why I'm taking sooo long on it, lol.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
