Unfortunately not...I've only ever bought 1 rebuild kit. I wonder if someone has a drawing of the gauge...?

Some may disagree but this is what I do.
1.) Remove the PTO. 2.) Tighten the jamb nuts on the back side a little bit keeping the tension even between the three screws. 3.) Slide the PTO back into its basket do NOT replace set screws. 4.) Clamp some Vice Grips on the drive shaft. 5.) By hand, physically try to turn the PTO. 6.) Check the engage lever to make sure it will release. Depending on how easy it slips, repeat steps 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6, until it is difficult to make the PTO slip. As long as the tension between the three screws is pretty even, you should be good to go. Do not forget to replace the set screws after final adjustment has been made. |

Kind of a related question. My Model 123 has been adjuted to the .015 gap between button and spring plate. The PTO stays engaged full time. Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

Hi Shorty..Welcome to the OCC... There's help for the front PTO but it would help a lot to see the the PTO when 1) engaged and 2)when you have pulled the handle and it's supposed to be disengaged. 2 photo's would tell those of us familiar with them a lot. My crystal ball quit working and I can't see what 's wrong from way down here in Texas...(:-}>...

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
