My before and after does not have a lot of noticeable differences but there really is a lot of changes.
before.jpg after.jpg after2.jpg First I welded a cross bar for the new engine mounts then added the point saver with blue coil and new points and plug with a new plug wire too. then installed a sleeve hitch and brinly adapter. New front tires wheels and bearings. Made some wheel weights that are 30# each. found a cast iron oil pan to replace the wasted aluminum one and added a magnetic plug. Changed the Hytran oil. installed Heavy-Duty Steering Tie-Rod End Kit. And probably more that I can't think of right now. |

We are not quite ready yet for our before and after shots as our 102 is still in the process of being painted. Yea we are slow as molasses in January. It is coming along though. I can appreciate all the work put into these transformations though. Good work.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
