Default Another 1450?

Taking an 8 hour round trip on Saturday to pick up another 1450 w/ single hydraulics and a 44" deck. PO says she ran last year, now she cranks but won't start. I hope this deal doesn't fall thru like the last 3. I'm gonna shove the 1450 on the truck and hi-tail it home.

Pics from the for sale ad. I'm concerned about the color of the rear. Hope PO doesn't have gear oil in it. Looks like the dash tower lip is shot or the bracket needs adjusting where the hood meets the dash. I'm thinking the deck w/ 4 wheels will help a lot with the strips the 50" was leaving in the grass.

That color is nothing to be alarmed about...that's what Hytran with dirt stuck to it looks like. Probably just a leak in the rear that's been there awhile.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
