Default Cub Cadet 427
I have an opportunity to buy a 427 for real cheap but I don't know much about them, I own a 100 which I luuuv. But I can't find much on the 427s. Are they a good tractor? Are there things about them that make them less desirable? If someone could give me some info or a link to some, Id appreciate it immensely. Thanks, Greg.

Greg, there's no such thing as a 427 Cub Cadet. I'm guessing the owner doesn't know what he has.

That looks like a 127 or 147. The engine looks to be from a QL.

Looks like a 127 that someone put a 14hp Quietline engine in. It also looks like they may have modified the frame to fit the bigger engine in. Although it appears to be notched like a 147, it has manual lift(147's had electric lift) and the red primer makes me think it was a home made job.

Default Well, I guess I'll pass.
Lot soy good points. It looked odd to me. I was looking for a new project tractor to redo and flip maybe. but I don't want someone headache. Thanks for input, greatly appricated.
