Default Jumping in feet first

Well I am new to the site and looks like i may be getting a boat load of cub cadets to play with. at least 1 1650 that runs, one 1650 that doesn't(possibly a parts donor), an older 100 series cub cadet, a couple of 75 rear motor. a JD 110, and 112 w/tiller, a rear engine JD, a #8 massey, and a mid 80's ford with a 60" deck. my friend and I should be picking all this up for about $400. I am getting the cubs and he is getting the off colored stuff.

Default got them

the 1650 is a runner, just rough and missing the side panels, and has a deck, the other 1650 will definitly be put up for sale in parts(it has the plummed rearend for the hydraulic lift deck). the older cub was a 127 in need of alot of work. and the 2 model 75 could be made to work as one. so it ended up costing me 200 and my buddy 150 plus a good weed eater. we also got a rare hydro massy 8, a jd 57 rear engine, the ford a yt16 that runs, 110 and 112 jd's and tiller should cover what we paid and then some.

thanks, I still can not believe it cost 350 plus a good used weed trimmer. thinking of trading a hydro rear end for a manual rear and/or a brinly kit

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
