Default Misc. IH items

I wasn't sure where to post this question, so I"ll put it in general. I'm going this weekend to look at some vintage items that a local guy has for sale in his garage. He mentioned that he has some misc. IH items for sale. I may not necessarily want all of the items, but if there are any IH collectors here, I may pick up the items to pass along to some of you guys.

One item is an old toolbox from an IH tractor, red, wooden bottom, hinged lid to the side, and IH stamped on lid.

He said he also has some IH wrenches, tractor items, and I'm not sure what else. If anyone collects these kind of items, let me know. I'll update after I see what all he has, or possibly list them in the for sale section if I get them.

anything with an 'IH' stamp on them is collectable.... did you see the episode of American Pickers where they found the IH umbrella? Cool stuff.

I seen it, Gary. They also came across some IH signs. I'd love to have an IH sign someday.

Anything IH is good in my book! Cant wait to see what he has That toolbox alone is very desirable since termites eat all the old wood down here.

there was a thread a while back about showing your IH stuff. I agree, basically anything with a pre-case/IH logo is awesome.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
