Default 122 update with pics

Well it's up and running at it's finest. Took some doing, but well worth it.
I found out the clutch was shot along with the throwout bearing, and keeper spring. The PTO was also rusted tight, so we needed to replace everything on that. And while I had the engine out to fix the clutch I saw that the head gasket was also blown. So with all the above fixed, I rebuilt the carb, and put in a new fuel shut off, it's now running perfectly
No one ever said they were all going to be turn key tractors
All fun, and a learning experience to boot. I'll get some pictures tomorrow.
Well it's Sun. here's pics. cleaned up a little, I stole the lights for the 123

Todd, you couldn't have said it better: ' No one said they were turn key tractors!"

Well it's done for now, and runs and drives great. Had the wife out on it last night, I think she likes it

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
