$ 108.00. Yikes. I only paid $ 89.00 & free shipping searching a bit on Amazon.

TheSatrunV got some of these a while back. Took me a few minutes to find his post.

Have them on the 982 and another hmm..."Simple Tractor" and they work great. Got them on clearance on AMAZONIA just to try and was pleasantly surprised. During the spring 2 years ago, had the drive way sealed and the chains really tore it up. NO MORE CHAINS for me, these things work just fine.

Can anyone comment on how they work on ice? We are talking your typical ice on the driveway.

most of the reviews I have read (and I have read hundreds; between many different forums, amazon reviews, other website reviews, etc) most have this to say:

Chains are far better for ice traction than these terragrips, but even on hard-pack, the terragrips do a pretty respectable job.

The major advantage to the terragrips are the fact that they don't tear up the pavement/asphalt/concrete/etc like the chains do. The give-up is the ice traction. A secondary advantage is a less jarring ride, as the chains make things a bit more harsh than the terra's.

I just got way to antsy and pulled the trigger on a set last night.

$89.99 with free shipping from Amazon for 26x12x12 T/G's. We shall see soon enough I'm sure.

Now i just need to get the new super running so I can use the chains.

How well do you think these will work on AG's? Just wondering if I need to switch back to turfs if I did get a set? Since my AG's are larger then my turfs I would need to make a choice on which set of tires are for winter and getting these on them.

Is it necessary to put these on both front and rear, or rear only on a RWD tractor when used to plow snow? I was thinking all 4 needed but then I saw some YT videos of people only running it on the rear.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
