Thanks everyone; I couldn't have done any of this without surfing here so you have only yourself to blame for the additional ideas!

Ran into a few snags today. I was hoping to have the hydraulics all done and fired up today but of the 4 hydraulic fittings I ordered from Discount Hydraulic, one was the wrong size. Someone must have just grabbed them from a bin without inspecting them

. And I need a JIC flare tool to redo the inlet line to the valve but nobody in my area had one...so now one is on order. So that kinda killed the momentum for the weekend. I was really excited to get it all done!

I did get everything all painted, valve is mounted, and hydraulic lines ran. Still cleaning up wiring.

As I wait for the hydraulic parts I started mocking up my tiller gearbox. I'll work on making the adapter plates tomorrow.
