I have a set I can get some pics and measurements from. I purchased a set for an older Horse I had and sold it for a newer style that takes different type.

I will let you know in a day or so on the long belt from NAPA. I ordered and have it in hand a part number AX-144. Got the numbers off of OCC thread. Ours is a #2 tiller going on a 127 tractor. Belt price was $37 Plus shipping of $12.
I like the idea of adding extra lube to the tiller chain drive box. I need to find some OO grease for this and my steering box on the Jubilee.
Regards,
Chris

So far it's not leaking. Just my 2 cents but I like oil to lube a chain better than grease. Pulled the cover off the gear box and all is good so I left it alone. Zerk fitting is only because I didn't have a pipe plug.

Looks good, I'm getting anxious to see you use it for the first time!

I'm thinking your going to need a vent on that too Sam if it has oil in it now. Here are some pics of some old tines off a tiller and some new ones from a late 70's early 80's Horse. They are different and not as long as the IH ones. The holes don't match either but maybe they can be drilled. I see the Stens ones have 3 holes so maybe they could work.

Todd

I agree about venting it, I just happen to have a vent off the top of a rear end that will fit. I'll keep you guys posted on what I find for tines.

These are 2" taller than the Troy Built tines but i think the hole spacing is wrong on these as well. I think the height seems right though. They are a tad cheaper too. Could always drill some new holes.

Bolt spacing looks like it will play.
Pic with the gear box on it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
