Default Some more pics and a deck score

Helped a friend locate and purchase a 109 this week. Sweet tractor that has been parked for the last 10 years. A good coil and a little gas and it fired up. No pics of the tractor but he gave me this for a finders fee. He only wanted the tractor for gardening.

Also a few pics of the K321 pieces. Still need to port the block and blend the valve pockets.

Exhaust on the left and 30deg ground intake on the right.

New rod. Modified pin end with small oil passage.

Magnum 12 HP cam awaiting shipment to Ohio to be reground.

Dang, I cannot wait for the rest of the parts. I want to hear it run.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
