Yea It's an "O" with a k241 in it. They modifide the hood so it would close over the fuel tank. There was a picture of it with the hood up to it think. Can't remember where I saw that one at.

Theres probably $75 worth of "O" there.....at first sight, I thought it might be an LP conversion and the tank was under the hood.

man you guys are real sharp.I dont know cubs like you guys .I never thought any one would go through the trouble to mod the hood like that. If I had the money I would buy it for a spare motor for my 102 its only about an hour north of me. thanks:biggrin2.gif:

If you look close. It has the hole for the creeper, but the front axle is from an early cub, it has the collard spindels on it. Can't tell from the picture's if the dash tower has the slot in it for the steering or not. I agree with Jeff there is atleast 75 bucks worth there.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
