Default 149 Cub cadet Paint job
I'm repainting my cub cadet 149, I want a nice looking paint job but no too much $$$, Can some one please give me some paint numbers. Does Sherman Williams have this paint. I need some ideals please. Also were all the engines painted yellow or was some black. Mine is black now that's why I'm asking... Thanks for looking, I hope some one can help me with some paint numbers.

Those are numbers for a few major paint manufacturers. SW might be able to cross them. The engine would have been yellow from the factory. Black = replacement engine. Starter/generator is black with silver endcaps.

I can tell you that it is the prep work that matters most, making your paint selection all the worth while. Dont forget about a good oil-base sandable primer.:biggrin2.gif:

Sherman williams matched the white dead on but they couldnt get close to the yellow. I guess I will be taking a trip to the cub store. Also should i thin the paint out or just shoot it on with out thinning?

SW should have provided you instructions for mixing and spraying their paint. If not, go back and ask for them.
