Congratulations on the 782 purchase!

I don't know about the scarcity of the cabs, but that one appears to be in very good original shape, so that makes it pretty valuable. Get the engine issues ironed out and you'll have a very nice package.

Nice 782 you got there! I found the same "Delux cab" with no doors and front curtain in April this year. (2016) They are rare and expensive to purchase, I have the manual for that cab if you want it. Can you post some pictures of the doors hinges system? I try to decide if I put back curtain or use full 1/4 Lexan instead.

Here my Delux cab thread: http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...131#post373131

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
