Default Another one followed me home - Pics Added

My 7th IHCC followed me home today. I wasn't really planning on buying another one, but I found it on Craigslist and went to check it out. It's a 129, has a 48" deck, 42" blower, 42" blade, wheelweights and chains. It runs great, no smoke at all. The hydro linkage is kinda messed up and sticks, but that should be easy to fix. The rear tires are pretty rotty, but I have another set here. The machine is very straight, but the paint could use some help. It's not all rusty, just very faded. The blower is pretty tight, but a little rusty. The blade is dang near brand new, even got the original manual for it. There is a little rust on it from sitting around, but all the paint is still on the moldboard part and it's straight as an arrow.
I'm thinking that I'll spruce this machine up a bit and keep it. Maybe I'll put the deck off my 149 on it and just keep the tiller on the 149 all the time. That way I don't have to switch between the deck and tiller all the time. (It sucks!!!) I guess we'll see what I feel like doing come springtime.
Anyway, I got the whole setup for $430. I'll likely be selling the blower and blade here shortly with winter coming and all so I'll likely recoup a lot of the purchase price. Look for them on here, should be up in a week or 2 (or PM me if you need it asap). I have a 7' double auger blower for my driveway already, so the snow removal stuff is kinda redundant. I might even sell the deck since I already have 3 48"'s here, counting the one on my 149.
No pics yet, I got home after dark (thanks to the time change) and it's still on my flatbed. I'll be out of town for a few days, so maybe I'll have pics up by the end of the week. Cheers

I saw that on there you got a great deal. A friend of mine thought long and hard about driving up to get it and decided to pass. Congrats you did very well.

Well, here are the pics:

Anyone recognize the wheelweights?

The blade is hardly used

And came with the manual, dated 6-77

All the implements are for sale, they'll be up in the classified section soon

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
