Well it's only been 3 months since I finished my hood. I've finally found a little time to get around to getting the body sanded, primed and painted. Here's a sampling to date...

thanks for the compliments guys. I had actually started on it a long time ago and got frustrated during the paint stripping process and then just didn't have time. I used aircraft stripper, smeared it all on real good and took the pressure washer to it. Well the yellow came off, then the brownish primer showed up. No big deal. Well under that was another coat of yellow... By now, sheesh... All in all There were 4 shades of CC yellow on it and primer too. An angle grinder with a wire cup brush ended up being my best friend.
I've got some of the bigger bolts painted (lug nuts), but I still need to find a way to somewhat quickly get the rest of them painted. I'd hate to spend all this time and have a bunch of rusty nuts and bolts showing. What I did on the lugs was take a piece of cardboard and punched holes in it and threaded them through to paint them. Any better ideas out there? I was thinking about dipping them, but that's not a very thought out approach as to what to do once dipped....

I'm afraid I'm going to need a few up close pics of an engine... I've got a couple brackets (small) that I don't have a clue as to where they went and how the choke cable routes/fastens. My memory is too old to have this stuff apart for 3 months and then remember how it goes back.
