How many made?
Is there a list of how many IH Cub Cadets where made per series? I have a 1250 that I am building into a puller and would hate to chop up a piece of history. Thanks for any info, John Schutte.

I don't know if there is a definitive list or not. I do think that IH didn't keep serial #s seperated by series, so for example 100101 could be a 127 and 100102 could be a 126. So it may be hard to tell just how many was made. I think it was a monthly total of all units. Again, I could be and probably am wrong...

Pick up this book: Cub Cadet - The First 45 years. It will have some production numbers for a lot of the model numbers. It's also a great read.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
