Question about a 184 Cub loboy.
I know that this is a little off topic, but they're basically overgrown Cub Cadets anyway. One of my coworkers came to me today & asked about a 184 Cub loboy. He said he found one for $800.00 & wanted me to give him some info about them. I filled him with everything I knew about them. That they are good tractors & if he found one running for that price he should jump on it. But there was something I couldn't answer. I know that all of the ones I have seen have a pulley mounted on the rear pto. I cannot remember seeing any with just a pto shaft sticking out. His main concern was, can you use normal 540 rpm pto mounted implements on one. He is mainly looking for a tractor to mow food plots & do some light tilling. Thanks in advance.

I don't think they have the standard pto. It runs at engine speed and is ccw. I do think the 184 is a better machine then the other two models. The 3 point is harder to find on these also. It sounds like a good price if not in bad shape.
