Default Is it really True

I was searching for IH 1086 stuffs, and came across an OLD thread on MyTractorFourm. and it was for a Belt for a Cub Cadet 1086, Is there such a thing.

Anybody have some pics.

I'd LOVE to get one, Plus, If i'm not mistaken, it was made by IH, which is why I put it here.

So, was it true, do they possibly have a Cub Cadet 1086. If so, does anybody want to sell theirs if they have one.

Also, some pics of one, or what one would look like, would be amazing.

Thanks
Cody

I don't believe there is a 1086 Cub. They had a 1050 and an 1100. Thats as close as you'll get.

According to the parts lookup, there is no 1086. People sometimes transpose numbers and don't proofread...

Again, You ruin a master plan.

But I'm glad, Now I know, and don't have to spend a year searching for a 1086 and isn't around.

Matt, I hope you doing mind me saying, that you've ruined a master plan, Because I"m meaning it as a joke, to complement your knowledge, and Same goes for anybody else...

I was kinda hopeing they did, because I could have a IH 1086 and a CC 1086, Perfect pair...

Oak, thanks for the quick reply

Thanks
Cody

I was asking, Because I thought it'd be awesome, if I'd have my Ol' 1086 made by IH, under IH, and next to her, a 1086 Made by IH, under Cub Cadet.

I think that would just be so sweet..

Thanks
Cody

Cool 1086, Cody! I love the old IH tractors. My Grandpa had a 1066, it was a beast!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
