Hytran Ultra and Hytran Plus
I apologize if this has been addressed before, but I couldn't find it through the search feature.
My local IH dealer doesn't sell Hytran Ultra bulk, only in gallons. I am going to be about 1 quart short of refilling my 1650 with what have on hand and have about 3/4 of a gallon of Hytran Plus sitting on the shelf. I know they are different, but before the Ultra, I used the Plus. Would it degrade the oils if I mix a quart of the Plus in when I refill? I just hate to buy another gallon if I don't have to.  Thanks

There are 3 different Hytran fluids -- Hytran, Hytran Plus (?), and Hytran Ultra, with Ultra being the newest. Each of them has a different performance standard. The dealer says they are downward compatible but not upward. In other words, you can use ultra instead of plus but not the other way around. Ultra is the newest. Hope this helps.
