I don't think so. I have not seen it in any IH literature. I would venture to say, that if one was seen, it would be a custom fabricated or aftermarket option.

Roland is correct, most of them were fabricated or aftermarket. I have a back rest on my 100, and I believe it came off a Springfield garden tractor.

One of my Originals had a seat back on it when I got it, don't have any idea what it was originally for. There may be a picture of it in my album on my whatever you call it page here.

I worked for quite a few farmers when I was young, I saw at least 3 of those seat backs at the dozen or so farms I did chores at. Those seat backs were hanging on the wall of the barn, or in the corner with a pile of a scrap iron. I asked one farmer why he didn't put it on his tractor. He told me it was on the tractor when new. He took it off because they beat your lower back to death when doing field work. He owned McCormick Farmall, IH, M-F & an old Oliver. I'm not sure which it may have been removed from. There's probably quite a few out there hanging on the walls of old barns.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
