IH Quietline 1000 starting issue
Hello Gentlemen,
I was getting my IH ready to start mowing this weekend. Aside from a mouse nest that was made on my engine block everything seemed to be in place. I put in my new battery and a new spark plug and added my fuel like every other spring. I am getting zero turn over at all from when I turn the ignition. I checked to see if the wires from the ignition switch were chewed and they were all good. Any other trouble shooting tips? Anyone else experience anything similar? Let me know when you have a moment. Thank you all.

safety switch on clutch or pto switch . try pushing clutch multiple times while holding key in crank position same with pto switch turning it on & off . look at wiring on back of ignition switch for corrosion . use a 12 volt test light to see if power is coming out of ignition switch on crank terminal

Use the wiring diagram included below to diagnose your problem. Aside from safety switches and corrosion as mention, note the fuse. And check ground.

Thank you Dale, I engaged the PTO switch on and off a few times while cranking and boom! Thank you for the tip. Thank you Billy O for the wiring tip as well. I have the wires for my headlights and I'm going to use your diagram to hook them up finally.
