Default 190-341-100 Snow Blower on LTX1046VT

Greetings All,

I have an LTX1046VT that I've recently given a little refresh to and it's now running great. I'm interested in finding a snow blower attachment for it, but, admittedly, I'm wildly uncertain as to what would work based on Google searches and whatnot. It seems like model numbers changed and other things.

Basically, I have eyes on used 190-341-100 attachments, but I am nervous about committing to one, getting it home and then finding it doesn't fit my tractor. One of the people selling says he used it on his LT1050, which seems pretty much identical to the LTX1046VT as far as the body and all of that...?

Appreciate anyone here with more knowledge than I have weighing in with any thoughts or advice!

Thanks!

Looking up the owner's manual for a LT1046 shows that the correct snow thrower would be 190-032-101.
Looking up the manual for 190-341-100 says that it is for 2000 Series Cubs.
Looking up the manual for 190-032-101 and comparing to 190-341-101 shows they are not even close.
LT1046 is vertical motor and requires an undercarriage assembly to drive the auger,
2000 series Cubs are horizontal motors.
You can look it all up here....

Thanks, ironman. I ran into a lot of this same information, but I think I started questioning things when the seller said he had used it on his LT1050, which seems to be rather similar to the LTX1046.

Probably a lot of wishful thinking on my part as I would love to get the snow blower attachment, but I literally have never seen anyone offering a 190-032-101 for sale anywhere, but I see the 190-341-100's popping up all the time.

Appreciate the information!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
