Default 127 help again

Losing my mind. Rewired the 127, it starts and charges, but when I turned the key to the run position, it died out and had no voltage to the coil. Changed the igination switch, now when you click it to the run position (before the start position) it starts up……..I am about to lose my mind !!!!! Wireing? Something else? Starter generator? I am confused…….

Hey GC, I think you will be ok. This is all new to me and i need to get my tractor back from the "repair" guy. I think he has something crossed somewhere. I have a like new wire harness here from a 127 parts tractor i bought and went over the diagram, not much to it. I just need to get my hands on it tommorow and see what the deal is.

the other day my 5 yr old walks up and says "can I play with this..." halfway not paying attention I said "sure". A few minutes later I realize he's took 2 of the heat shields from the engine down to his sandbox...

That's a first... Maybe he's finally starting to listen since he started kindergarten.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
