This is a video "Walk Around" and a demo ride of my completed Toro Lawn Tractor conversion. (Now I just need to solve some vibrating body panels to quiet it down) Thanks to a bunch of folks on this site that helped with a ton of questions I had....

Nice! Your quality of work cannot be surpassed.
If you do a write up, I hope you'll include a parts list, parts access list, and maybe an electric schematic. I'll be very interested in seeing your attachment and control arrangements for the front mower. Thanks for sharing your "fun project" with us. |

I will be penning a complete HowTo article on my web site later today. I'll include all info... www.rvbprecision.com
I'm not sure on the mower deck motors. More research is needed but I'm hoping two, 24v or 36v / 1500-2000 watt motors will spin two 19" blades. We shall see |

At this point I'm looking to repurpose cordless lawnmower battery/motor/blades. These are extremely lightweight and shouldn't be an issue supporting them.
Otherwise, the entire deck will roll on four large, inflatable casters. The batteries for the deck will be LiFo which weigh about 1/3 of lead batteries. |

Love the article, thanks for writing and sharing.
But you can't get away with no criticism at all, and that is.... these old eyes would appreciate larger, and especially, darker font for more pleasant reading. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
