Default Kohler 321 Carb question

I have a Kohler 321 that the parts diagram shows carburetor 47-853-30.

However, the carb on my engine looks to be replacement, it is marked 47-053-04 but I cant find any information on this number and I need a rebuild kit. And I double checked thats a 0 not an 8 on my carb.

Anyone know if they might be the same?

Is it a walbro? then it will need a different kit. If not it will use the same kit the udder used.

It will be cast with the name walbro on it. It also will have marks on from throwing it at a wall cause they are a PINTA to rebuild.

Where is the casting mark usually? I see that part number cast into it but not walbro.

If you don't see it then you don't have it.
The kits are the same for both carbs you mention.
Is this the same engine that is in the 125 with the funny dipstick?

OMG that’s LOL funny right there! Marks from throwing it at a wall. I always wondered what those were!

Thanks for the laugh!

Been searching around and I still can't tell how to identify an original Kohler carb from a copy?

A walbro will only have one adjustment screw
A Carter will have 2, an idle screw and a high speed screw.
Post a picture of it.
What's wrong with it anyway?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
