3000 Series Hydro Linkage

I'm new to this Cub Cadet thing and I've been looking for motion control pedal adjustment and the likes. Today I discovered a simple way to adjust the hydro linkage rod under the floor pan of my 3240. I loosened the two 3/8" bolts that hold the rods together through the slot enough to allow the rods to slip. Stepped on the brake until it hit its stop and held it there until I re-tightened the 3/8" bolts. The bolt heads are now about 1/4" off center to the left of center in the slot. The forward motion pedal is now a bit lower than the reverse pedal. BUT I have good speed in forward and reverse and no forward creep when I apply the brake like I used to have. I have to tell you folks that I'm not looking forward to ever taking the floor pan off any more. My thanks to the help I get from this forum too. Great people on here.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
