Bringing paint back to life......
I'd like to keep the original paint on my 782. It's got some scratches and spots(like something was spilled on it before) on it here and there though. What can I use to get the scratches and spots out and make the paint "pop" a little again?

I have used Turtle Wax Polishing Compound before with good results, followed by a good wax. Rubbing compound is another option if your scratches are heavy, but be cautious because it is more abrasive than polishing compound.

Rubbing compound followed by wax. I have some before/after pictures from one I did somewhere. In my experience, you won't rub through the paint on these if you do the rubbing compound by hand. The rubbing compound will sort of remove some stains.
