There is a rear PTO for the gear drive Cub Cadets that is based on the rear PTO of the farmall cub, but it's pretty much useless, show tractor attachment. They're kinda rare. You could add it to either the 122 or 126 but there's no point in my opinion. For the Cat-0 stuff, you'd need a Cat-0 hitch, which is available aftermarket, but it's pretty spendy. As hard to find as Cat-0 attachments are, you'd be better off selling them and using the money to buy equivalent sleeve hitch versions that you can use with the 3-point that's already on your 122.

Yeah my opinion is that my sleeve hitch stuff works just as good as my cat-o for small stuff.

The one good use for the rear pto is if your into the flat belt stuff like corn shellers ect. You can get the 90' gear box that bolts to the rear of the PTO mount and has a flat belt pulley on it. I have seen a few custom things made for that rear pto, such as a 38" timed mower deck from an Original converted to a trailing mower deck, pulled from the drawbar, twin adjustable tail wheels, and shaft driven from the pto and using a snowblower/tiller gear box on the mower deck to drive the middle idler pulley. Otherwise its just a show item. Mike

being new to the cc boards and what can be done with them is quite amazing to say the least.
It has been years since I used the 100 to mow with . And it was the first time I've enjoyed mowing in a long time . Normally I use a B hog and a 4 ft CAT O finish mower . Dr mac |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
