Picked up a plow for it. Also, finally got around to putting some of the pictures back up that photobucket hijacked.
![]() When I brought it home ![]() Working on getting the broken bolts out of the rear end and adding the brace ![]() ![]() Pic of snow thrower lift rod someone asked for ![]() Cub ready for snow with BX1500 and firewood in the garage. ![]() IIRC we got 20 plus inches of snow that storm, but the cub was not very good. Reverse was very weak and traction was poor. I added chains and fixed the worn linkage for reverse and it was night and day. Tires are already loaded. ![]() Here is the picture of the bent looking brake bracket from earlier in the thread. Brakes were religned and they have been working fine. ![]() If there are any other missing pictures from the thread that anyone wants, just post up and I will find them and reload. Thanks Brian |

I bet that Kubota BX in the background will move the snow with ease!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
