Default Daddy, let's mow!

After mowing tonight I took my daughter on a somewhat short ride. Then she wanted to drive.

Well, it's a hydro, so she don't need to reach the floor.
CUTE!

Cute as a button!!!

But, please, pleasePLEASE do not mow with her on board!!

I am sure you know this but it's just too dangerous (a buddy of mine learned that VERY hard lesson years ago and his son, now an adult is living and limping w/the consequences to this day)!

Plus, little brand new ears do not need to be subjected to all that noise. (neither do ours) I learned that lesson WAAY too late in life!! Of course 40 years in a class 8 OTR didn't help either.

Yeah, I'm aware of all the dangers of mowing with a child on your lap. I won't do it. Typically if she rides with me the only thing moving is the wheels. Also, I have a set of headphones she wears too.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
