Default 50,000th original
I bought 2 originals about 3 months ago and discovered the serial number on the one is 50501.according to my calculations, that would make it the 50,000th one off the line? Just wondering if anybody else out their has any "milestone" originals?

I had a 582 for a short period of time that was built in the last month of IH production, probably the last week.

Didn't the production numbers start at 500?

No, they started at 501. That way the number is accurate. So, 501 is the first one made, 502 is the second and so on.

Nope! I forgot too. Regular Cub Cadet production began with serial number 590. 501 was the first real preproduction tho.
