You didn't specify which type of hydraulic lift you're talking about, but for the ported hydro pumps, it's a 0.3 cu. in. pump, which at 3600 rpm would flow ~4.5 GPM. Maximum pressure is ~700-800 psi except for the 982, which was slightly higher.

My mistake. I'm talking about the external pump for the hydraulic lift on narrow frames.

You're welcome. Are you looking to add hydraulics to a NF also?

Yep. I NEED some sort of lift system, but the factory setups can't be touched for less than $350 (I've bid on every one on epay), and the right electric actuator (duff norton's HD unit) is $500.
So, I'm putting a system together using a pwr strng pump that is the right gpm, and psi.....and I found one for $64 that even looks like the correct unit, I just have to fab a tank, and attach it.
I do fabrication all day, and the tanks are cake.
Then there's a piston, found correct size and throw, and I'm using a valve block with handle from a log splitter.
I'm trying to put together a system that is inexpensive, looks factory, has more than ample lift capacity, and is easily duplicated as I'm about purchase a trailer full of cubs.

Make sure the rotation of your pump is correct. I mounted a PS pump on mine but I had to turn it around to get it to rotate the right direction.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
