Default Check this out.

Does anyone know anything about these. If they are available in the states, I am going to have to find one. Not so sure about the grass catcher, but the 4wd would nice.

I don't think you can get a CC Garden Tractor w/ 4x4. But I know you can get some of the bigger tractors that have 4x4. just put a belly mower, and you've got a VSGT (Very Super Garden Tractor). Would be an interesting project. to put a 4x4 on one of ours, and still make it steerable. That would be nice. :P, and I know they've done the articulated version.

Thanks Cody

My local cub dealer has a couple of that style for sale on his used lot....I think they are more prevalent here than overseas.

Here is a link to a tad larger one on e-bay

Here is another similar..

That grass catcher is sort of cool though....probably cost a fortune

The guy using it sure doesn't know how to cut grass...

I'll stick to using one of these.

I think you guys missed it. It is a 2000 series factory 4x4 with rear discharge deck. You have to go to the 5000 series here in the states to get 4x4. It would be great for small residential snow plowing.

yup...your right after a closer look....On the European cub site it says it has front hydro motors?? Looks like its a vertical shaft Kawasaki without power steering...sort of a glorified box store model. There are no lug nuts or anything obvious attaching the front wheels to the "all wheel drive" front axle...interesting.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
