Default Hydro adjustment

I was reading an article about hydro's inner workings that was very interesting, then read about external workings with levers and linkages. The article mentioned going to the technical section, and looking at adjustments. I can't find anything about adjustments anywhere, can someone help. the issue I'm having is my 149 creeps backwards when I try to start the engine. Thanks

I just dealt w/the same issue on my 882.
I lengthened the rod that runs parallel along side the left side of the frame by turning the ball end 2 turns.
Seems to have fixed the issue.

Go to technical library, then to the 3rd page, then click on this link.

http://ccmanuals.info/pdf/1x6-7%20Service%20Manual.pdf

Download and print out the manual. It has every adjustment you need in there. I like to put mine in the clear protectors so they don't get greasy in the shop.

I download every manual I can remotely associated with my tractor.

Hope this helps.

Randy

thanks guys, been trying to print from the tech library without downloading, and it wouldn't let me print just one page, but would let me print the entire manual, 162 pages. After downloading it let me print one page at a time.

That would have NOTHING to do with OCC. That restriction would come from the PDF program you are using. I have no problem downloading nor printing an individual page from my end.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
