So out of curiosity what oil are you guys putting in the tranny of your pullers?
I've heard several opinions from 2 quarts of ATF to 3 quarts synthetic motor oil to plan old hy-train. Just wondering what to put in this thing. I'm running dart carrier and all Midwest internals. i figure I've put enough money in this thing, might as well put the best lube I can to it. |

I'm not a puller, but if I were, I would use 30 wt nd break-in oil. Cheap store brand at that, just change it often.

If I had that kind of money in it I would run something synthetic.

I prefer to use something 30wt or thicker. ATF doesn't provide the protection needed in my opinion.

I/ve always used a gallon of ATF I had one that came with a clear hydralic oil. Jack oil? Mike

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
