122 clutch set screw problems
Im trying to remove the set screws out of the clutch in my 122. One set screw broke in half, the other half still stuck in the hole. the others appear the heads are rounded out as the allen wrench won't catch.
any suggestion what I can do? thanks, Nate

Clean the holes in the pto out the best you can, use a 1/4" - 20 bottoming tap. Once you get the the threads cleaned up you may want to grind the end off of the tap a little so that it will go in even further. Use a pick or something sharp and clean the holes in the set screws so that you can get your tool in all the way to the bottom.
If an Allen wrench still won't bite, get a very good quality #15 torx socket and try driving it into the opening in the set screws. If you can get any kind of movement at all, turn the screw out just a tiny bit and then back in a little, then back out a tiny bit and back in, repeat, repeat, repeat. After you start to get the screw to move, I like to turn that hole to the bottom and tap the side of the casting with a hammer (really often) so that any debris can fall out and blow it out with compressed air. Expect to spend an entire day getting these screws out, if you end up not needing the whole day then you can consider yourself lucky. As for the broken one, plan to spend another day and many drill bits drilling it out. If you don't have the patience of a GOD, you may as well not even try getting them out. Good Luck.

There are several different types of broken screw extractor sets available that may work for what you are up against. Like Sam said patience on this one is a must. I would soak them good with PB Blaster and clean the threads up as best you can...you may get lucky. I feel your pain on this one BTDT!!!
