2072 Driveline question
I have a 2072 that i was inspecting the flex discs expecting them to be worn out a bit and it looks like they are pretty healthy but there is a bit of slop between the input shaft of the hydro and the splined adapter that the flex discs connect to - this thing:
http://www.cubcadet.com/wcpics/CubCa...1066_large.jpg I have not torn it apart - is it more likely that i need a new one of those or that the input shaft of my hydro is worn out? Those adapter things are not cheap but i hear hydro input shafts aren't either! I know Jeff in PA makes a conversion to the CV shaft style but i'm not sure what's involved for a 2072 conversion both from a financial and labor perspective. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Easy one. You need a complete drive shaft and the cooling fan from an 1882 or a 2082 and a pump adapter. Try the sponsors for the shaft and fan.
