Is there a Fuel Filter on this tractor...??? If so, does it need to be replaced...???

Is the flow of fuel to carb good & steady...???

Are you 100% sure the new pump is pumping?

Could the needle valve be stuck shut inside the carb.

Do you have a fuel filter on it or did trash get into the carb again?

Well, if the pump is pumping, filter is good and the needle is working correctly it's time for step 2.

Pull the exhaust off, then the intake manifold, remove carb, disassemble and give it a good soaking in carb cleaner overnight and blow it clean. Check the float setting as shown in the manual. You may need a rebuild kit from here.
http://onanparts.com/

Shine a light down the intake manifold in the dark and see if you need to reseal it. That doesn't have anything to do with your problem but it's a good time to check it.

Is there gas in the tank..... I've been down that road 1 to many times.

No its got gas, but carb was cleaned. It just acts like its got no gas. It runs when i put fuel in it. I'm going to try blowing out the intake

Can you hear the floats moving in the bowl when you turn it upside down? I take a hose and blow in it as I do this to see if the needle is working the way it should...

There are different carbs on the Onans, mine has the Walbro--I think it is a little less common. Here is the link to some info I posted on where to get a carb kit and my rebuilding, go to post #16

http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/s...t=34965&page=2

On mine I could pull the top off the carb with it on the engine and see if it was getting fuel. You might want to stick a paper towel in the intake so you don't drop anything in it.

Did you adjust your mixture screws? I think they're 1 and a half for idle screw 1 3/4 for the main. Look at the owners manual for adjustments. You can download it. Just don't crank down on the screws!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
