I have an opportunity to buy a set of rear Bolens 50# weights from a friend for a 12" rim...these will fit my stock 126 right? I'm not at home or I would check.
Thanks! |

I know a guy that runs the bolens weights on the inside of the wheel and cub weights on the outside, he says its to hide the off brand parts.

I have a set, came on an Ariens, they look just like those and are about 50 lbs. as I remember. The holes align close enough to bolt up but were off slightly. I put them on a 124 then moved them to a 100 my son in law uses to push snow with. They worked fine.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
