Default 1863 1100hrs with 48" deck and 3pt

http://fargo.craigslist.org/grd/5346779064.html

I know the gentleman that has this for sale and he said it used no oil all summer. The motor is clean. It has some starting issues that sound like it could be a bad switch or dry starter. The right front deck wheel is in need of repair. I tried to buy the 3pt off of it and he would like me to buy the whole tractor.

I like it but don't really need another Cub. Tempted....but I only have need of one Cub and have two already.

From what I see in my area his asking price is spot on however I wouldn't pay anymore than $900.

It is a little high for my area. The last 1863 that I seen for sale was 800 and it had less hours. This one is nice and it does have a 3 point. I not sure what the 3 point is worth, maybe 300-400. So that being said if its something I want I do not a 100-200 stand in my way.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
