Default Serial number on 104?

Can anybody help me locate the serial number on my 104? Trying to find what year it would be. I have done a lot of work to her but have not seen any tags except the one on rear end. And cast number on side of rearend. Thanks.

It's the tag on the rear end
There is a chart here in the tech section
What's the number on the tag?

Thanks Tim and Terry! Was curious. There is a cub dealer that was good friends of my old man about 45 mins from me and i am gonna go see what he has left in his gold mine of these old gems. I grew up right up the road from them and went to school with his kids and every time we would go by the place there would be a hundred old Cubs out front!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
