Default Picture of the Week: July 12, 2015

This weeks submission is sent to us by local member Jerry Daniel aka cowdiddly from Oklahoma. Jerry comments "Just got my 1282 tuned up and deck rebuilt and made mincemeat of mine and my neighbors grass, purring like a kitten and never missed a step. Now My neighbor wants me to find him one! I am 2 brackets and 2 hardlines away from being able to install dual hydraulics and my deck covers paint was not dry for the picture as I wanted to leave it off for a test run to make sure I had everything back together correctly and adjusted. Best its ever cut and not bad for an ole 50a." Thanks for the submission Jerry!!!

Note: Picture is scaled down to fit here, for full resolution image simply click on the picture below

Nice machine, congratulations. I really like the red ones, I've been eyeballing that 782 on Craigslist, but I'm not sure how much better it is than the 1450 I already have. Seeing how nice yours is doesn't help

Well thanks for the comments guys BUT. I entered PTOW 4 weeks ago with these pictures but a nicer tractor won.
For some reason the short paragraph like it is now was heavily edited with my name, username and locaton removed and changed to say it belongs to a guy named Jim.

So now everyone one the board thinks my tractor belongs to someone named JIm. That defeats the purpose of a PTOW contest and takes all the fun out of winning.

I guess thats the last straw with me here. IM out of here that is beyond ridiculous. Oh and nice tractor Jim. gezze what a site.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
