Default troy built tiller

OK so I bought a used tiller that needed some work. I have everything done except for removing the tines to replace the leaking seals. This is where I ran into trouble. I removed the bolt that holds the tines on and it won't come off. Soaked in penetrating oil for 4 days smacked it with a hammer, and currently have a puller on it. Also heated with a torch while puller was on and still no luck of coming off. My last idea is to remove engine and handle, and submerg into a plastic barrel for an electrolysis treatment. What do you guys think?

I have redone several of the Horse models and and they are great tillers. I usually just put a BIG puller on the tine holder put pressure on it and smack it with a big hammer. I have larger pullers than most auto shops so I can really put the pressure to it.
If you need another one I have a couple that did not sell this spring.

It's a pony model, basically the same as a horse. Guess I need to get a larger puller and a BFH!!

Yeah it takes a lot of pressure to get it broke loose from the shaft and key. The puller I use is for trucks or heavy equipment bearings. Then I put a half inch inpact on it and it usually pops right off with a couple of strikes from a big hammer.
I got the seal numbers from MTD and ran them through NAPA and saved some on the price. Do not know about the Pony though.

I use the Posi lock pullers. Is that what you have?
