Hydraulic lift in 122
I picked up a 122 today with hydraulic lift,sleeve hitch and hydrostat transmission.one of my questions is did someone switch hoods or was hydro transmission an option?The previous owner said that the seal was bad on the hydraulic pump upon closer inspection I can see that the shaft has some side to side movement are parts available for these pumps?

 Hydro 122 would be a 123, probably wrong hood. Which pump is leaking? The lift pump or trans pump? Edit- You beat me Jeff!

Yes, parts are available, but for the main parts of the pump they are pricey. Cub Cadet wants nearly $400 for the shaft..... but it's available. If you know of a hydraulic supplier, they may be able to get it cheaper. It's just a Sundstrand hydro unit. It's not CC specific. Your best bet is to just buy another unit. You can get a used one for around $75-$150 depending on where you look.
