Default Ignition switch bolt size
I lost the nut to my ignition switch but am unfamiliar with the type and size.

The parts book do not list the size,just a part #
but there are two types,fancy chrome oem part or bare bones nut.

Amp meters, coils, etc. use a 10-32 nut, usually brass, but steel will work.

must be a tiny switch this is like, wow for a 5/8 hole, sumptim like that.

Nate - I've got a spare plated nut and the internal serrated washer that I saved from my bad 782 ignition switch. I just checked and the nut fits the ignition switch to my Quietline 1450. The internal size of the nut is about 5/8". You are welcome to have them, just email me.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
