Every year I pack up my "rusty gold" and headed on down to the Cowtown swap meet to share my wealth with others. Long ago I realized that if I left my own spot I'd inevitably leave with more "gold" and less "green" than I came with.
Every year all my friend stop by and tell me about this or that only one row over and how they though of me immediately. This year was no different, three or four friends stop and tell me about a cub sitting just up the other row, I refrained from leaving my spot knowing how bad my cub fever is. So I sat there, discussing the meaning of "rusty gold" with my fellow "collectors" till the end of the day. Crowds died and decided to start packing it up and call it a day, when a glimpse of yella catches my eye. Of course the guy selling the cub had to drag his trailer down my isle to leave. My mouth dried up as I started to sweat as it drew closer, I'd had It! Jumped in front of his truck and stopped him, stuck me head in the window and struck a deal. Behold! Surprisingly well running 126 with working creeper and rear lift

The highlight of that tractor isn't the crepper or the lift, its that's awesome looking seat.

Unbeknownst to you, all of those "friends" went over to that guy and told him when leaving to be sure to drive real slow down your aisle.

Congrats on the new 126! I think it would've hopped on my trailer, too. Some nice goodies on it as well.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
