Even the wife was suprised
When the wife got home this evening she was shocked that I mowed the back yard tonight...That 15 dollar 129 tractor I brought home is what mowed it.I brought this thing home as a parts tractor not even thinking of using it. Matt G where ever you are out there, gave a little nudge telling me how I cheap I might get it going for was enough to make the attempt thanks for that. And sure enough, I added up tonight and I have $86 bucks in her..lol. The crazy thing about it, out of the 3 I now own including the 149 daily user, I think its probably the best running and driving tractor I own. Don't beat me up to bad on the hood and the nose cone I think it came from a QL but it beats not having one at all and it was free And I'm looking for the correct ones now.The wife told me she would borrow the neighbors bushhog because I told her I was not mowing the back yard till it would do it. Oh course, she said it was not happening....It still needs a few things for sure seat, new muffler, hydro serviced for sure, a very good scrubbing, and a little paint probably next year. But here she is......lol..Moral to this, that I learned is never give up on a I H Cub...

Transformer......lesson learned!!! A JD would have let you down and you would have lost a lot more money in it as JD thinks their parts are made of gold, or at least that is what they charge!!! For the price you have in it, you could easily double, if not triple your return!!! Great deal.

A good running Cub for only $86. What a great deal!
You never know what you're going to run across out there. That's one reason that I like these things. You don't need to invest a lot of money to enjoy them. A great hobby.....but addictive. :biggrin2.gif:
