Well my 4yr daughter old loves driving my cubs around so I figured I'd let her help me fix up the 72 for herself. She wants it Pink and purple though

Congrats on being able to enjoy your children and the Cubs at the same time. That's one of the things I really cherish, getting out a tractor and having one of my kids jump up and down begging to ride along. I just think that's so much fun!
Thanks for sharing and please continue to share pictures when you can.

It would not be the first pink 72 on the site. Member cjrolke has one for his daughter. For whatever reason he or his hosting site deleted his pictures, he has one up on another site. To see it click here
Bill Edit: ford4150 found one as well |

Never been a fan of pink/purple cub cadets. Just my 2 cents.
Good luck on your project.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
